Kate’s senior session at Forest Park was the perfect mix of soft, confident and full of personality.
From the moment we started, she brought such a natural energy in front of the camera. The way she moved, the way she smiled, everything felt effortless and genuine which is exactly what makes a session stand out.
Her outfit choices gave us so much variety throughout the shoot. The soft floral dress created a timeless, feminine feel that worked beautifully with the architecture and greenery at Forest Park. Then she switched into a more fun and confident look with her white dress and boots which added a completely different vibe to her gallery. That combination of looks is what really helps tell a full story during a senior session.
One of my favorite parts about photographing seniors is capturing this exact moment in their life. Kate is heading to Tennessee for college, and you can feel that mix of excitement and independence starting to shine through in her images. This is such a huge milestone and being able to freeze it in time is something she and her family will always have.
Forest Park continues to be one of my favorite locations in St. Louis for senior photos. It offers so much variety from clean architectural lines to soft greenery and golden light. It allows us to create a full gallery without ever feeling repetitive.
Kate’s session is such a great example of what happens when you fully lean into the experience. You get images that feel natural, confident and completely you.
If you are a high school senior or a parent starting to think about senior photos, now is the time to start planning.
