Kicking Off the Class of 2026 Senior Squad

There’s nothing quite like the excitement of starting a brand-new Senior Squad year. Every fall, I get the privilege of welcoming a fresh group of high school juniors into Sundberg Photography’s Senior Squad, and each year feels like the beginning of something special. This week, we officially kicked off the Class of 2026 Senior Squad with our very first team shoot!

What the Senior Squad is All About

If you’re new here, let me share a little about what the Senior Squad program is. It’s more than just photos — it’s an experience. Members of the squad get to enjoy exclusive themed shoots throughout the year, fun group activities, and the chance to represent Sundberg Photography as ambassadors. It’s a way for me to connect with each senior, showcase their unique personalities, and capture these once-in-a-lifetime moments in creative ways.

The program isn’t just about beautiful portraits (although there will be plenty of those!). It’s also about building friendships, growing confidence in front of the camera, and creating memories that go way beyond the typical senior photo session.

The First Shoot of the Year

Our first team shoot is always one of my favorites because it sets the tone for everything to come. The Class of 2026 brought their style, their energy, and their smiles — and I couldn’t be more excited about this group.

This first shoot gave us a chance to get everyone together, shake off those nerves, and have some fun in front of the camera. The team vibe was incredible, and you can already tell this is going to be a group that loves making memories together.

Looking Ahead to the Fall Shoot

Now that the first session is behind us, I’m counting down to our upcoming fall shoot. 🍂 There’s something magical about autumn in Missouri — golden leaves, cozy outfits, and crisp air that makes everything feel fresh and exciting. I can already picture the laughter, the bold fall colors, and the amazing portraits we’ll capture.

Why I Love Working With Seniors

Senior year is such a unique season of life. It’s a time of change, anticipation, and stepping into the future. I love helping my seniors feel seen, celebrated, and confident during this milestone. My goal is always to make each session more than just a photoshoot — I want it to be an experience they’ll never forget.
