There are moments in this business that remind me exactly why I love what I do, and recently I received two messages from clients that did just that.
The first came from Margie after her professional headshot session. She shared that she’s had several headshots taken in the past but never ended up using any of them. This time was different. She loved her images so much that she updated her online photo right away and even ordered new business cards and signs using her photos. Hearing that means everything, because professional headshots should feel like you. Whether you’re in St. Louis or Wentzville, your headshot is often the first impression people see, and it should reflect your personality and your brand. My goal with every branding session is to create photos you’re excited to put out into the world, not images that sit in a file somewhere.
The second message came from Chris’s mom after their senior session. She told me she absolutely loved the photos, but what surprised her most was how much she ended up loving their senior album. She didn’t think they needed one at first, but once she saw it in her hands, she said she was so glad they chose it. This is something I hear often. Digital images are great, but albums are where the real memories live. Seniors grow and change in the blink of an eye, and having a photo book that tells the story of who they are right now becomes something you hold onto forever. A senior album is one of the best ways to preserve the full experience, not just a few favorite photos.
These two messages couldn’t be more different, yet they both highlight the same truth. Whether it’s a professional headshot session or a high school senior session, photos matter. They tell your story, they represent you, and they become keepsakes that last far beyond the moment.
If you’re looking for a St. Louis or Wentzville headshot photographer who creates images you’ll actually use, or a senior photographer who believes in heirloom albums and meaningful keepsakes, I would love to photograph you. Creating photos that feel genuine, personal, and true to who you are is at the heart of what I do.
